Overview

Level Effect is launching a practical cybersecurity course focused on AI-assisted security work. The program emphasizes real-world application rather than data science theory, featuring hands-on exercises with a custom model named MEDIC for natural language processing-based incident response.

Course Outcomes

After the four-day program, participants will be able to:

- Understand modern AI architecture including LLMs, RAG systems, Agents, and MCP, plus associated security implications

- Apply prompt engineering techniques relevant to security work (Zero-Shot, Few-Shot, Chain of Thought, ReAct methodologies)

- Identify and exploit AI vulnerabilities including prompt injection, token theft, and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities relevant to AI systems

- Perform NLP-based triage on compromised Windows endpoints while understanding both capabilities and limitations

- Evaluate AI security solutions with informed judgment when engaging with vendors

Capstone Project

The final day involves triaging a compromised Windows endpoint, applying all course material learned throughout the program.
